Note: our palo santo comes from an ethical and continuous growing farm. This is often way better than harvesting wild populations of the plant (the country has laws on this anyways, you cannot cut down a tree to harvest it, only trees that naturally fall or limbs that fall). On farms, they are following all of the laws and ethical ways of growing palo santo. They also re plant and re grow trees to allow for sustainable growth.
Palo santo means "holy wood," and is used in spiritual rituals for its cleansing and healing properties. Palo Santo trees are protected by regulations and have to be harvested in a sustainable way. So ONLY dead trees and fallen branches can be harvested.
How to use: hold a flame on the palo santo for a few seconds until it catches fire; allow it to burn a few seconds and then blow the flame out. Let the smoke and the palo santo do the work! Please place it in a heat proof container like an abalone shell. Include your OWN ritual while using this; there is no wrong way to heal yourself and home.
