Putting the herbs on your candle:
Have your intentions set. You can meditate, pray, etc. while making your candle.
Have some type of oil ready, either olive oil (because it is non flammable) or essential oil.
Rub your oil on the candle and roll your candle in the herbs/flowers.
Some people like to scribe their intention into the candle, do this before putting the oil and herbs on.
